Director

Jonathan directed his first stage play his sophomore year of high school, and hasn’t quit since. Professionally, he has more than 50 professional productions to his credit, including Luv, Standing On My Knees, Company, Social Security, Tomfoolery, Blood Ties (which he also starred in), The Birds Do It (which he also wrote), Bo Wilson’s Manly Men: An Evening Chock Full of Lies and Testosterone (which he also starred in for the original NYC production), the East Coast premiere of Pamela Gray’s Supernormal Clutches, the World Premiere of Player’s Joy, which he also restaged for the film version, and, most recently, the World Premiere of his wife, Tanya’s, erotic romantic comedy, Euphoric Tendencies.
In 2005, Jonathan added Film Director to his resume, with the erotic short, The Line Between, which he also wrote. The Line Between was accepted for inclusion in both the 2006 Cinekink NY Festival of Erotic Film, and the 2008 Chashama Film Festival, also in NYC. Since then, he has directed 20 other short subject films, including a series commissioned by the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater. In 2012-13, he also shot, edited and directed a segment for the upcoming feature, White Buffalo: An American Prophecy. Jonathan’s next directorial project is the feature film version of Euphoric Tendencies, scheduled for production in 2021.
